Originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, I lived and worked in Germany for fifteen years before returning home in late 2021.
My research interests include Bertolt Brecht, exile literature, post- and decolonial literature, and nineteenth- and twentieth-century German history, specifically German colonialism, the Weimar Republic, World War II, and the postwar period.
I have over a decade of experience translating and editing texts for academics, museums, NGOs, theatre practitioners, and commercial clients.
